Optocare grows with Solar
Solar's focus on communication and security is benefitting the installation company Optocare in Stockholm.

Optocare was founded by Anders Edvinsson in 2007 and has since then mainly been active in the installation of fiber, data and security. Most of the jobs are given to them as partners to other electrical companies in the region.
Optocare has grown in recent years and today has 19 employees, 15 of whom are fitters. Like all installation companies, Optocare is dependent on a reliable and smooth material flow, and Solar has therefore become one of the company's most important partners.
Growing collaboration
The type of items that Optocare buys a lot of can be found within Solar's specialist area of communication and security. The fact that these are specialist areas means that there are dedicated teams of specialist salespeople, who are always ready to help the customer find the right solutions. A good example of this is when Solar helped Optocare solve a large installation of an Aptus system from Assa Abloy.
'Taking up the fight'
Solar Sverige has been working in the field of security for over 30 years, and today it is one of the areas that is growing the strongest. Anders Edvinsson at Optocare has also noted this:
- For us, it is clear that Solar has taken up the fight with the specialist wholesalers. Solar has the right product range, but also the right expertise. I've been in the industry for a long time and really see the need to have skilled specialist salespeople, says Anders Edvinsson, and continues: - When you add the advantages of also being one of the largest wholesalers, such as well-functioning logistics – then it becomes really good. This means that we get the best of both worlds - and that makes our everyday life much easier.
